What do Edible Dog Clothes, the Drop and Rip, the Shoelace Trapper, Salmon Steps, the Sheet Stopper, the Multi-Hood, and the Robot Cleaner 3000 have in common?
What do Edible Dog Clothes, the Drop and Rip, the Shoelace Trapper, Salmon Steps, the Sheet Stopper, the Multi-Hood, and the Robot Cleaner 3000 have in common? Each was invented by one of Viewpoint’s Fourth Grade students. Every member of the Class of 2027’s inventions and experiments were presented at the annual Fourth Grade Science and Engineering Expo on February 20 in the Rasmussen Family Pavilion, where parents, grandparents, siblings, and the Primary and Lower Schoolers toured the booths set up to showcase the students’ ingenious and original projects.

Under the direction of Lower School science teacher Marian Williams, the Fourth Grade students conceived, developed, and constructed their own inventions and experiments during class time. The Science and Engineering Expo, held each February, gives the students the opportunity to display and explain their projects and the inspiration behind them.
