Viewpoint is indeed fortunate in its partnership with our vibrant, active, engaged parent volunteer organization, called the Viewpoint School Service Association (VSSA). More detailed information on the VSSA's many opportunities for involvement can be found by clicking on "Community" at the top of the page, and then "VSSA."
The parents of our youngest children assist us as room parents, servers of hot lunch, host parents for newly enrolling families, book fair organizers, coordinators of special events, and as Annual Fund volunteers.
In addition, the School strongly encourages parents to attend the many assemblies and special events in Primary and Lower Schools to watch their children perform.
Although parents do not assist in the classroom at Viewpoint, occasionally they may be invited to help with special projects or to share a special talent or aspect of their background (for example, through our Global Studies program). Otherwise, the children's days are carefully organized under the supervision of specially-trained educators: their two core classroom teachers, seven enrichment teachers, and the Head and Assistant Head of their Division.
