  • Pool Technician

    Viewpoint School is seeking a full-time, skilled Swimming Pool Technician. Responsibilities include the repair, preventative maintenance, and replacement of plumbing equipment, plumbing fixtures, electrical equipment and fixtures, mechanical systems and swimming pool repairs, with some general cleaning work required. Duties will also include the support of school functions and observe/report facility defects through campus electronic work order system.

    The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years’ experience as pool maintenance technician, a high school diploma or GED, CPO certificate, L.A. county health department certified preferred or obtain one within six months from date of hire. General knowledge of OSHA and CAL-OSHA, L.A. county health department safety standards pertaining to pool maintenanceactivities. Individual must be flexible in the case of emergencies, events, and as needed. Must be able to work in a variety of climates indoors and outdoors, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and handle a variety of hand and power tools. Must have valid California’s Driver’s License.
