The tournament is sponsored by FlyQuest, TL, and TSM. Donations can be made in the name of the different schools both before and during the tournament, with all funds donated to the World Health Organization Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund. TSM will match the highest donation made by the schools.

Ethan said, "After my freshman year, I founded Yale Undergraduate Esports Club. We thought since there are no more traditional sports to watch, through esports we can support COVID-19 relief. Please come watch our Ivy+ vs. Covid-19 Charity stream to support the cause!"
