Viewpoint Teachers Featured on KTLA for Initiating Community-Wide Effort to 3D Print PPE

Technology teachers Alison Steelberg Corneau ’97 and Lisa Kessler were featured on KTLA’s nightly news for a story about Viewpoint School’s community response in the COVID-19 crisis. We are incredibly proud of the program they put in place, which now involves teachers, students, and their families producing essential PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). In less than two weeks of producing 3D printed face shields, they have already delivered over 160 completed face shields to local healthcare workers. And they are committed to continuing to produce face shields until there is no longer a need for donations from outside sources. To see the report: click here.
