ARC Bell Choir Visits the Middle School

by Melissa Strong, Assistant Head of Middle School

On Tuesday, January 8, our Middle School students enjoyed a guest performance from the ARC Bell Choir, an event made even more special by the connections some of our Eighth Grade advisory groups had made when they visited the ARC center in the fall. After a cheerful performance of holiday, patriotic and whimsical songs (such as “This Land is My Land” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”), as well as an introduction to the music reading system used by the performers, some lucky students were given the opportunity to test out their skills on the handbells with the guidance of the ARC performers. It was a wonderful reunion filled with smiles from familiar faces and hugs from new friends!
