Update From Viewpoint School

Dear Viewpoint Community,

I am writing with a Friday morning update regarding the local wildfires. The campus is safe, though we have lost power. Calabasas is evacuated to our west and north.
 In addition:

- The Sixth Grade Trip will return at Noon to the Promenade Shopping Center at Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Erwin St.
- Activities on campus today and tomorrow are canceled. We are working to reschedule the Middle School football game and our Upper School cross country will still travel to CIF prelims.
- We will make decisions about Monday’s rehearsal and communicate as information is available.
As we have lost power, campus email is down, so Viewpoint staff are unable to receive email messages. Students should not worry about any inability to reach faculty in this interim.

We want to hear about Viewpoint families’ needs and your safety, so we have established an email for you to communicate with us with any information about your family, homes, and safety, to ask questions or share any needs until regular email service is restored.

These have been challenging days, and we want to know how we can be here for one another. Thank you for your concern and for sustaining the strength of our community through this time.

Take care and stay safe,
