Viewpoint’s student-athletes capped off an impressive season, with multiple league championships and all spring teams qualifying for the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Leading the way were the Boys and Girls Swim Teams, who continued their remarkable dominance in the Gold Coast League. Competing at Brentwood School on May 1, the Boys Swim Team captured its 21st consecutive league title, while the Girls Swim Team earned its 19th straight league championship.

Track and field also celebrated another successful league season. At West Los Angeles College on April 28, the Boys Track and Field Team secured its third consecutive Gold Coast League title, while the Girls Track and Field Team claimed its second straight championship.

Varsity Girls Softball added to the spring success by clinching its fourth consecutive league title after finishing undefeated in Gold Coast League play.

The accomplishments extended into postseason play, with several Viewpoint teams advancing to the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Congratulations to Boys Lacrosse, Boys Golf, Varsity Girls Softball, Boys and Girls Swim, Boys and Girls Track and Field, Varsity Baseball, Boys Volleyball, and Boys Tennis on advancing to the CIF Southern Section playoffs.

Several teams are still continuing their postseason runs:

• Varsity Baseball will host its first-round CIFSS playoff game on Friday, May 15 at Birmingham Community Charter High School.
• Varsity Girls Softball will compete in a first-round playoff game against Providence at George Izay Park on Thursday, May 14.
• Track and Field athletes will compete in the CIFSS Finals this Saturday, May 16 at Moorpark High School.
• Boys Golf will participate in the CIFSS playoff tournament on Monday, May 18 at Sterling Hills Golf Club.

Other spring teams, including Lacrosse, Swimming, Boys Tennis, and Boys Volleyball, have already completed their playoff competition.
