With a strong turnout from students, families, and community members, Viewpoint’s Girls and Boys Basketball programs came together on Wednesday, January 28, in the Paul Family Athletic Center (PFAC) to host a Play4Kay tripleheader against Campbell Hall. While the games were part of Gold Coast League play, the evening also served as a Play4Kay event in support of women affected by cancer.

“We chose to partner with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund not only because it supports cancer research, but also because it funds programs in underserved communities, helping to make quality healthcare more accessible to all women,” said Brittany Espinoza, Director of Girls Basketball.

All teams wore Play4Kay shirts during warm-ups, and a brief moment was held before each game to honor and celebrate the lives of cancer fighters. The tripleheader featured the JV Boys game at 4 p.m., followed by Varsity Girls at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity Boys at 7 p.m.

For those who were unable to attend, the Play4Kay donation link remains open for anyone who would like to continue showing their support.
