This class is for students studying strings in the Traditional and Suzuki methods. Repertoire will include pieces from the Suzuki method and the Essential Elements text. The incorporation of these two methods will allow for expansion of present skills and musical concepts. Proper posture and accurate intonation will be reinforced. The final class on Friday will culminate into a small performance. Parent participation is strongly encouraged, but not required. Students will need to bring their instruments.
This class is open to Viewpoint and non-Viewpoint string students. Any student who has not participated in the Viewpoint Strings Program should contact the Summer Programs Office, or Ms. McLeod for further information.
