Admission Process
We give full consideration to applications from qualified students for any grade.
We work carefully to shape a student body that represents a broad range of interests, abilities, and backgrounds, one whose families are aligned with our School’s mission and values.

How to apply: It starts with an application. The priority application deadline is December 16, 2024.
There are two ways you can submit an application:
- Via Viewpoint's own application. You will be prompted to create a Parent Portal account and will then have access to the online application. The Parent Portal will be your go-to resource for tracking your application, scheduling your family meeting, and submitting any required documents.
- Via the common instrument provided by The Enrollment Management Association called the Standard Application Online (SAO). The SAO is accepted by Viewpoint and all other member schools. There is no difference between using the SAO or Viewpoint's own application.
Then, click on your grade-level or division below for the next steps:
Apply to Viewpoint with the Standard Application Online (SAO)
The SAO is the most efficient way to apply to 400 private schools. Take comfort in knowing that schools give SAO applications equal priority. Save yourself the time and frustration of poring over multiple application forms and essays by applying with the most-used common private school application today!
International Applicants Requiring F-1 Visas
Viewpoint School is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. A small number of international students study at Viewpoint, and we are able to issue I-20s for international students. *Please note: international students requiring F-1 Visas are not eligible to apply for the TK program.
International families interesting in applying should keep the following points in mind:
- Viewpoint is a day school with no boarding facilities, and we do not undertake to place international students in homestay programs.
- Viewpoint does not offer ESL courses. Non-native speakers of English must demonstrate excellent verbal and written English.
- We strongly prefer that students from abroad — if they are not living with their own family — reside with relatives or friends in the area who have a vested interest in their well-being.
- Family meetings and student interviews can be conducted either virtually or in person.
