Viewpoint’s Middle School curriculum builds on the skills and concepts developed in Lower School by increasing the depth and sophistication of concepts and content. The 4 C’s of collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity are woven across all content areas so that skills, concepts, and content may be applied in new ways. The curriculum provides the academic foundation necessary to successfully prepare students for Upper School while encouraging and nurturing their love of learning. Learning how to learn in ways that work best for the student is taught across all content areas and in advisory. Most importantly, the Middle School curriculum honors the age and stage of the adolescent learner by crafting experiences that build resilience and self-efficacy.
