Two of Viewpoint’s Robotics Teams Face Off Against One Another at Clash in the Canyon
This past weekend, Viewpoint’s Patriot Robotics hosted Clash in the Canyon in the School’s Paul Family Athletic Center. In the highly competitive field of 32 teams from 17 different schools, Viewpoint entered four robots into competition.
Robotics Coach Lance Argano-Rush reported on the action, “The day started off with many setbacks, but the students demonstrating great resilience persevered. All four Patriot teams entered the elimination bracket round of 16. In bracket play, teams 1437z and 1437v were knocked out in the first round of 16. Team 1437x and 1437a fought through several fierce matches, including some upsets, to make it to the finals to face each other. In the final match, 1437x was triumphant and 1437a was the runner-up.”
