Twelve Members of Viewpoint’s Upper School Concert Choir Performed the National Anthem at 2023 City of Calabasas 4th of July Hometown Celebration

On Tuesday, July 4, just before 9:00 p.m., twelve students from the Viewpoint Upper School Concert Choir – Avrick Altmann ’24, Ella Crenshaw ’26, Jasper Crenshaw ’24, Nathan Danese ’25, Julian Dans ’25, Lily Davis ’25, Laurel Eith ’24, Naomi Engle ’24, Daphne Huffman ’26, Carly Nelson ’25, and Megan Shaw ’26  – sang the National Anthem to kick off the Fireworks Display at City of Calabasas’ 4th of July Hometown Celebration - Evening of Music and Fireworks at Calabasas High School.

Viewpoint’s Middle & Upper School Choral Director Carrie Dietsch said, “This is the third year that members of the Viewpoint School Concert Choir have been invited to perform the National Anthem for the City of Calabasas 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! We are extremely proud to showcase our talented vocalists for such a prestigious community event, and are delighted that our students have been given such a special performance opportunity.”  

Avrick Altman ’24 added, “I was so excited to sing the national anthem at the 4th July Spectacular, along with many of my closest friends from Viewpoint’s choir. We were honored to perform at this incredible community event.”
