Middle School Bound: Viewpoint’s Class of 2031 Bids Farewell to Lower School During Final Assembly

Friday, May 31 marked a significant milestone for our Fifth Graders as they gathered in the Carlson Family Theater for their final assembly. With excitement and anticipation, they said goodbye to Lower School and eagerly welcomed the beginning of their Middle School journey.

During their final assembly, our Fifth Graders kicked things off with a pre-show video showcasing cherished moments from the school year. Following this, student hosts revealed various awards, chosen by their classmates, such as “Favorite Performance,” “Favorite Field Trip,” “Biggest Supporter,” and “Favorite Recess Activity.” Additionally, the Class of 2031 treated the audience to their renditions of “Heroes (We Could Be),” “Higher Love,” and “Stand By Me.”

To close the assembly, students invited audience members to share their words of wisdom for transitioning to Middle School. Here are some of the responses they received:

"Remember, your potential knows no bounds. Explore new avenues, embrace challenges, and, most importantly, enjoy every moment."

"Now's the time to indulge your curiosity. Whether it's trying out for a school production or testing your skills in a new sport, seize the opportunities that come your way. You might just uncover hidden talents and passions."

“Please don’t spend all of your money at Kitchins’ Kitchen!”

Congratulations to the Viewpoint Class of 2031 as they embark on this exciting new chapter!
