Four Members of Viewpoint’s Concert Choir to Perform National Anthem at 2022 City of Calabasas 4th of July Hometown Celebration

On Monday, July 4, just before 9:00 p.m., a quartet from the Viewpoint Upper School Concert Choir -- Emily Lawson ’23, Layla Ananda ’23, Jake Roth ’26, and Daniyar Ali ’24 -- will sing the National Anthem to kick off the Fireworks Display at City of Calabasas’ 4th of July Hometown Celebration - Evening of Music and Fireworks at Calabasas High School. Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m.

Viewpoint’s Middle & Upper School Choral Director Carrie Dietsch said, “We are delighted that the City of Calabasas has invited members of the Viewpoint Upper School Choir to be featured in this year’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! Emily, Layla, Jake, and Daniyar are excellent representatives of both our choir program and Viewpoint School. We are so proud that they will be singing the National Anthem for this prestigious event!”

Emily Lawson ’23 added, “I am so excited to be performing at the 4th of July Spectacular this year along with three other incredible vocalists from Viewpoint. All of us are so honored to sing for this special event and we hope to see a great turn out from the Viewpoint School community!”
