Everyone Loves a Great Pumpkin Day Parade!
Everyone Loves a Great Pumpkin Day Parade!

The First Annual Great Pumpkin Day was celebrated at Viewpoint in 1964, and the TK-Five students could not have been more excited for the return of this beloved Halloween tradition. The day began with a parade of tiny ghostbusters, superheroes, and zombie cheerleaders in grades TK-Two. One highlight among many was a TK student who dressed as Mr. McKee. The parade was followed by carnival games including a witch’s hat ring toss, a pumpkin decorating contest, and a moon bounce enjoyed by all of the Primary and Lower School students. To maintain COVID-19 safety protocols, the students were grouped by grade and all of the events took place outside. The students and their families had a spooktacular time celebrating together.
