CALABASAS, CA - April 7, 2026 - Viewpoint School has been awarded the 2026 Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health, the nation’s top recognition for U.S. employers committed to fostering mentally healthy workplaces. The honor is presented by Mental Health America, a leading nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being.
The Bell Seal recognizes employers who demonstrate a strong commitment to creating a workplace culture that prioritizes mental health.
“At Viewpoint, this award highlights our ongoing efforts to support faculty and staff well-being through programs, resources, and a culture centered on care and connection,” said Dr. Rebecca Heller, Director of Student Wellness TK-12 at Viewpoint School.
As part of the Bell Seal evaluation, Viewpoint was recognized for its policies and practices across four key areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and whole-health wellness programs. Employees have access to mental health resources through the Employee Assistance Program, along with medical benefits that include mental health coverage. Throughout the year, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a range of wellness offerings, including time in the Lavender Room, yoga, hiking, massage chairs, and opportunities for connection through community events such as breakfast buffets and coffee carts hosted by the Viewpoint School Service Association (VSSA).
This fall, employees also participated in a well-being survey administered by Authentic Connections, providing insight into how Viewpoint can continue supporting its community in managing stress and preventing burnout. The school will continue to build on this momentum, strengthening its practices, benefits, and culture to support its employees and broader community.
