Dr. Powell is the Associate Head of School for External Affairs at Viewpoint School. Prior to her arrival at Viewpoint, she held progressively senior positions at Columbia University, advancing large-scale campaign strategies for the College, Arts and Sciences, and Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute. She received a Ph.D. in Art History and Archaeology from Columbia University and has been awarded numerous prestigious grants and honors, including a Jacob K. Javits Fellowship, Samuel H. Kress Interpretive Fellowship, and Phi Beta Kappa honors.
