Viewpoint School is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.
A small number of international students study at Viewpoint, and we are able to issue I-20s for international students.
Families of international students considering Viewpoint should keep the following points in mind:
- Viewpoint is a day school with no boarding facilities, and we do not undertake to place international students in homestay programs.
- Viewpoint does not offer ESL courses. Non-native speakers of English must demonstrate excellent verbal and written English.
- We strongly prefer that students from abroad — if they are not living with their own family — reside with relatives or friends in the area who have a vested interest in their well-being.
- In the admission process, we prefer in-person meetings with the applicant and parents. When this is not possible, we are able to conduct Skype interviews.
The application process for international and domestic students is the same.
Viewpoint School is committed to enrolling a diverse student body. The School admits students of any race, color, gender, religion, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission and tuition assistance policies, and athletic, or other school-administered programs.
