  • Facilities Runner

    Basic Purpose:

    Provides hands on support with various departments during day, after-hours and during weekend events providing hands on assistance with moving items, loading and unloading, and assisting with the set-up of events.  

    Assists the Director of Events Planning and Catering with the setup of Campus events, including transporting food, beverages, and supplies to event site ? Assist with the unloading and stocking of the event supply storage room with deliveries from a variety of suppliers and disseminating supplies to various locations on campus ? Provides support to the Theater and Venue Coordinator with assembly and concert set-up, working as a stage hand during events, and clean up ? Works in the Patriot Student Store as a cashier during lunch periods on a daily basis. Also, serves as back-up to the Cashier on sick, vacation, or other periods of absence ? Assists the Food Services Manager with loading and unloading, delivery, and stocking of items in the Lunch Cottage, Express Café, and Student Store ?Assists the Shipping and Receiving Department with daily deliveries including loading and unloading vehicles, delivering items to classrooms and offices, unpacking deliveries, and other duties
    Assists the Shipping and Receiving Department with daily deliveries including loading and unloading vehicles, delivering items to classrooms and offices, unpacking deliveries, and other duties ? Assists the Shipping and Receiving Department with bus duties as needed ? Shopping for supplies (food, beverages, paper goods, etc.) for events as advised ? Participate in "Right-to-Know" and OSHA training, maintain working conditions and standards that comply with health and safety codes ? Must be accessible and available in the event of emergencies or when needed to meet the ongoing missions of the School.

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
    Demonstrated experience in a customer service setting, with the abilities to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with parents, faculty, staff, and administration
    Available to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends ? Must have a valid drivers’ license ?Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able deliver supplies all around a 40-acre campus.
