Viewpoint’s architect Jeffrey M. Kalban & Associates recently received a 2009 Design Excellence Award from the American Institute of Architects/San Fernando Valley Chapter for its work on the School's Gates Academic Center, Carlson Family Theater, and Academic Hall. The annual Design Excellence Award recognizes the superior architecture of a project in its ability to improve the built environment, while incorporating programmatic requirements and constraints.

Kalban & Associates also designed Viewpoint’s new Upper School project, which includes a state-of-the-art Upper School Academic Building and an Athletic Center with a 1,100 seat double-court gymnasium and a competition pool for Middle and Upper Schools.
