Overview of Viewpoint School's Libraries
Viewpoint School’s libraries provide welcoming, vibrant learning environments that nurture passion for inquiry, inspire creative and critical thinking, and instruct and support teachers and students in the effective and ethical use of information and ideas.
The library collections consist of fiction, nonfiction, reference, audiovisual, and professional teaching resource materials. The libraries also subscribe to online academic databases, daily newspapers, and periodicals in print form.
Viewpoint School is an active member of ISLE (Independent School Library Exchange), a consortium of Southern California independent school libraries, as well as the American Library Association, and the Association of Independent School Librarians.
