Welcome
Viewpoint School is an enriched college preparatory program, emphasizing academic excellence in a nurturing environment. The School’s 25-acre campus is located in the scenic foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, and provides young people in Kindergarten through Grade Twelve with an ideal place to grow, to learn, and to achieve success.

Recognizing that children grow best among their peers, Viewpoint is organized into four divisions, each enjoying its own distinct program and geographical identity: Primary School (Kindergarten through Grade Two), Lower School (Grades Three through Five), Middle School (Grades Six through Eight), and Upper School (Grades Nine through Twelve). Viewpoint nurtures the students’ unique talents within the structure of four smaller divisions which together comprise Viewpoint’s community.

With an enrollment of 1,200 students for the 2011-12 school year, the School provides a ratio of ten students to one full-time teacher to ensure that all students benefit from individualized attention and a personalized style. Viewpoint’s teachers work closely with students both in and out of the classroom, inspiring students with their enthusiasm and love of learning.

The School’s students represent a diverse array of ethnic, religious, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds. Fifteen different languages are spoken in the homes of our families. Students commute to Viewpoint School from our surrounding communities conveniently using carpools and the School’s busing program.

We look forward to meeting you during the admission process.

Sincerely,
