Viewpoint School welcomes applications from qualified students for any grade, and maintains key entry points at Kindergarten, Middle School (both Sixth and Seventh Grades), and Upper School (Ninth Grade). Applications for grades other than these are considered when a space arises that needs to be filled.

Timetable for Applying for the 2009-10 School Year

Fall 2008: Check our Web site for upcoming Admission information sessions and Open Houses. Contact us to schedule a tour of campus during the school day.

December 1, 2008: Application postmark deadline for siblings of currently enrolled Viewpoint Students.

January 12, 2009: Application postmark deadline for all other applicants to all grades.  Our customary annual deadline is January 10.  However, since that date falls on a weekend in 2009, our 2009 postmark deadline is Monday, January 12, 2009.
(Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a case by case basis for Wait Pool consideration.)

February 4, 2009: Application files must be complete with evaluation forms and transcripts received.

January and February 2009: On-campus screenings for Kindergarten applicants and testing days for applicants to Grades One through Four. Applicants to Grades Five and higher make their own arrangements to sit for the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) during this time.  Viewpoint School offers two sittings of the ISEE in 2009 but applicants are not required to take the examination with us.

March 2009: (Exact date TBA.) Decision letters mailed for applicants.

Early April, 2009: (Exact date TBA.) Candidates' Reply Deadline:  admitted candidates must notify us of their intent to enroll or to decline the offer of admission no later than this date.
