Viewpoint School is committed to making Viewpoint's education accessible to students regardless of their financial resources. To that end, we have several different payment options and a need-based financial aid program for those who qualify.
Tuition for the 2012-13 school year:

Fees for the 2012-13 school year:
- The application fee is $125.
- There is a one-time New Student Fee of $1,500. This fee adds to a capital fund for the upkeep and development of the physical plant.
- A yearly general fee of $715 for Kindergarten through Grade Five and $655 for Grades Six through Twelve covers the cost of student accident insurance, art and music fees, most field trips, publications, most sports equipment, activities, most testing, and, through Grade Five, the use of textbooks.
Additional Expenses:
Tuition covers instructional costs during the academic day. Families may also incur extra fees for other expenses, depending on the grade level, ranging from $500-$1,200. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Purchase of textbooks (Grades Six through Twelve only)
- PE clothes and Spirit Packs (items such as specific team uniforms and equipment related to particular sports)
- Class trips, dances, and class photos
Transportation:
Many families opt to have their children ride the school bus to and from Viewpoint each day. A list of school bus routes can be found by clicking on Transportation, to the left. School bus fees are separate and range from $1,850 to $2,300.
Flexible Payment Options
There are several payment options for Viewpoint families.
- Payment in Full. All tuition and fees are paid by July 1, before the school year begins.
- The Two-Payment Plan. All fees and 60 percent of tuition are due by July 1, prior to the opening of school. The remaining 40 percent is due by December 1. Participation in the Tuition Refund Plan is also required. (see below for more information.)
- The Monthly Payment Plan. Families must pay all fees by July 1, and can pay tuition in nine equal installments from July through March. Families who opt for this plan are also required to participate in the Tuition Refund Plan and are billed a service charge of 6%.
Tuition Refund Plan
Because the financial commitment of enrollment is for an entire year, Viewpoint offers a Tuition Refund Plan. For a charge of three percent of the total tuition, parents may insure themselves against full liability for unused tuition. |
