Viewpoint School welcomes applications from qualified students for any grade, and maintains key entry points at Kindergarten, Middle School (both Sixth and Seventh Grades), and Upper School (Ninth Grade). Applications for grades other than these are considered when a space arises that needs to be filled.
Timetable for Applying for the 2012-13 School Year:
Please note: Printed admission materials for 2012-13 will be available in late October. We will mail them to you as soon as they are ready.
Fall 2011: Check our Web site for details on admission events and plan to attend one. You are also welcome to contact us to schedule a tour of campus during the school day where you can see classes in session.
December 1, 2011: Application postmark deadline for siblings of currently enrolled Viewpoint Students.
January 10, 2012: Application postmark deadline for all other applicants. Financial Aid deadline for all applicants.
February 4, 2012: Application files must be complete with evaluation forms and transcripts received. Testing results do not need to be received by this date.
January and February 2012:
- All applicants: Candidates for all grades and their parents are interviewed on campus in their family meeting.
- Kindergarten applicants: Saturday screenings.
- Grade One through Four applicants: Saturday testing.
- Grade Five through Twelve applicants: Must sit for the ISEE during this time. Viewpoint School offers two sittings of the ISEE, December 10, 2011 and January 28, 2012, but applicants are not required to take the examination with us. They may sit for the exam anywhere.
March 9, 2012: Decision letters mailed for applicants to grades Nine through Twelve.
March 23, 2012: Decision letters mailed for applicants to K through Eight.
March 27, 2012: Grades Nine through Twelve Reply Deadline: Families admitted for Grades Nine through Twelve must notify us of their intent to enroll or to decline the offer of admission for their child no later than this date.
April 2, 2012: K through Eight Reply Deadline: Families admitted for for Kindergarten - Grade Eight must notify us of their intent to enroll or to decline the offer of admission for their child no later than this date. |
